Screenshots show the author’s published interface and may differ from later releases. We have not playtested the addon.

What is it useful for?

ASTinyPlates is for crowded fights where ordinary enemy bars obscure the enemies you need to watch. It changes nameplate presentation rather than replacing the whole HUD, leaving larger plates for identified bosses and Guardians.

  • Regular enemies use smaller replacement plates.
  • Bosses and Guardians retain names, status bars and available debuff timers.
  • Author examples show both the default interface and SDUI; other combinations are not established by these screenshots.

Get started after installation

Install the addon using its current repository instructions first. These steps follow the author’s documentation; check for changed commands or UI after an update.

  1. Download the packaged release and put ASTinyPlates in your client’s AddOns folder. Restart or reload and enable it.
  2. Compare ordinary enemies with a boss or Guardian. The addon draws small replacement plates for regular enemies.
  3. If important plates behave unexpectedly, use /astpdebug to collect visible boss/Guardian diagnostics for the author.

Useful tips & limitations

The author tested the default UI and SDUI. Elite debuffs have known GUID limitations, including confusion when an Elite shares a Guardian’s creature type.

  • It has no documented ordinary settings command. A Guardian plate may briefly appear small before identification.

If a game update causes a problem, disable the most recently added addon and report the game version, addon version and exact error to its author.
