What is it useful for?

FieldKit is a modular toolkit rather than an all-or-nothing layout. Start with the information you need, then add combat text, statistics or map markers. Its Essential HUD preset changes visibility while keeping your chosen positions and other addons intact.

  • Configure scrolling combat text, health/shield displays and independent boss portraits.
  • Use the combined Accessories/Spells card to review learned spells and temporary jewelry.
  • Drag active windows, group related cards and lock the layout after arranging it.

Get started after installation

Install the addon using its current repository instructions first. These steps follow the author’s documentation; check for changed commands or UI after an update.

  1. Use the named player ZIP in release Assets. Install AddOns/AzerothFieldKit/AzerothFieldKit.toc, disable legacy MASH and restart.
  2. Open /fieldkit. Choose English or French and enable the HUD modules you want; game spell names retain the game language.
  3. Drag active windows or use Windows → Layout to group, resize and lock them. /fieldkit lock and /fieldkit unlock change movement locking.

Useful tips & limitations

A maintained MASH fork. The documented 0.3.2 release is a prerelease; optional co-op spell sharing remains experimental and depends on native data.

  • Its Difficulty multipliers describe the game menu, not live combat measurements. Missing affix or progression data is not invented.

If a game update causes a problem, disable the most recently added addon and report the game version, addon version and exact error to its author.
