Jewellery shapes the run you are playing; Armory equipment develops the class between runs. The Codex records jewellery you have been offered, including pieces you did not choose. A discovered entry does not put that piece into your next run.

Star of Mystaria is a trinket

In the current records, Star of Mystaria is a trinket with maximum-health and damage-reduction effects. It is not in the base amulet table. Older footage or a guide calling it a necklace may describe an earlier version. Compare the current category before reserving your necklace choice around it.

Base amulet names

These 16 names are in the decoded base amulet table. Class-specific legendary necklaces have additional rules and are not a complete part of this list:

  • Mark of Fordring
  • Talvash's Enhancing Necklace
  • Pristine Enchanted South Seas Kelp
  • Prestor's Talisman of Connivery
  • Animated Chain Necklace
  • Woven Ivy Necklace
  • Amulet of the Darkmoon
  • Jeklik's Opaline Talisman
  • The Eye of Hakkar
  • Medallion of Steadfast Might
  • Choker of Enlightenment
  • Amulet of Vek'nilash
  • Pendant of the Fallen Dragon
  • Malice Stone Pendant
  • Onyxia Tooth Pendant
  • Choker of the Fire Lord

An item name alone does not establish its effect, drop source or an upgrade limit. Open the detail in your Codex or read the offer during a run.

Where an offer comes from

The current Codex text names battleground caches, elites and guardians as jewellery sources. It describes entries as pieces offered to any hero. It does not promise a specific piece from your next cache. The cache display shows your gold and the next price, so check both before buying.

Choose around the problem in front of you

  • Dying before the next boss: compare maximum health, damage reduction and healing offers.
  • Long gaps between attacks: compare cooldown effects before taking more damage.
  • Using damage over time: check whether faster ticks and healing fit the spells you have actually learned.
  • Building around a necklace: read which spell it changes before concentrating your upgrade picks.

These are ways to compare an offer, rather than a universal item ranking. Use the Warrior starter or Demonology starter for examples.

Does finding an item in the Codex equip it?

No. The Codex records pieces offered to your heroes. Read the run or Armory screen to see what is equipped.

Sources & scope

Names, categories and effect roles were read from v0.115.0 (6d1c4473) game records. The 16 base amulet records below do not enumerate every class-specific legendary necklace or its computed effect. Read the offered card for numbers and upgrade scaling; no drop rates or item combinations were tested in play.
