Rings, trinkets and amulets belong to your current run’s equipment choices. Ghost Gaming Insider’s explanation describes two ring slots, two trinket slots and one neck slot. These temporary items are separate from the class gear collected from bosses.
Two equipment layers
| Layer | Examples | Between runs |
|---|---|---|
| Run jewellery | Rings, trinkets and amulets | The equipped run setup resets. |
| Class equipment | Collected boss gear such as head and shoulder pieces | The collection persists; inspect and equip it in Armory. |
The explanation from 0:16 ↗ covers the slots, followed by the reset distinction. Your collected permanent gear does not preserve the exact jewellery combination from your previous attempt.
Where to inspect item effects
The v0.91.2 Codex describes run items offered through battleground caches, elites and guardians. It distinguishes broadly shared rings, trinkets and most amulets from class-specific legendary amulets that modify a spell. Read the offered item’s current effect instead of importing the World of Warcraft item’s original stats.
A Codex entry records an offered item. It does not mean that item starts equipped next run, and it does not guarantee another offer.
Use effects to compare alternatives
The recorded Hunter priority accepts lifesteal on either a ring or an amulet, and substitutes a cooldown ring when the desired trinket is missing. It illustrates why reading the effect can be more useful than searching for one exact item name.
Looking for permanent loot instead?
Open Armory’s Drop Tables for the selected class, then check Collection for equipment you have earned. We have not verified every class’s loot pool or current percentages. Keep an exported save before moving your collection to another browser.
