Goerson's Human Fire Mage clears Warsong Gulch, unlocks Arathi Basin and then continues into endless mode. The victory appears at video 27:59; the death at 32:51 comes after that clear. Separating those two results makes this recording useful for players deciding whether to finish a successful run or keep fighting.
The recording shows Aethus's original game, v0.77.6 (7cdc75fb). The original game's menu showed v0.95.0 (3ab42ec2) when checked on 17 October 2026. These are historical build and result details. Linked times refer to the video, with in-game times identified separately.
Warsong Gulch Fire Mage run · Goerson
A Warsong Gulch victory followed by endless play, original game v0.77.6 (7cdc75fb). Selected screens checked on 17 October 2026.
Fire talents and starting equipment
At 0:07, Goerson's talent panel shows Arcane 0, Fire 11 and Frost 0, with 13 points earned and 11 allocated. Two Fire nodes are at 5/5, but their names are unreadable in the inspected view. Ignite is confirmed at 1/1: its tooltip says Fire critical hits cause the target to take 80% of that hit's damage over four seconds. That describes the recorded talent; it does not measure how much damage Ignite contributes across the run.
An Incinerate tooltip at 0:12 shows 0/3 and a +12% Fire Blast damage effect. The zero rank matters when reading the setup: this frame does not establish an Incinerate purchase.
The 0:20 equipment screen shows Magister's Circlet, Apprentice's Mantle, Apprentice's Robes and Apprentice's Boots equipped. Hands, wrists, waist, legs and main hand are empty. The collection count of 6/45 describes the collection, while four pieces are visibly worn.
The visible spell mix
The inspected spell displays confirm Fireball, Blizzard, Ice Barrier, Flamestrike and Pyroblast. A sixth blue icon lacks a reliable text identification. Fire talent investment therefore sits alongside spells from outside the Fire school in this recording.
If you want to try a similar approach, check the complete spell bar before filling your last slots. Copying only the Fire spells would leave out Blizzard and Ice Barrier, both visible parts of Goerson's setup. The sampled screens do not provide an acquisition order or enough evidence to rank those spells by contribution.
Movement during the boss fights
At 16:27, the game timer reads 12:46 and the Mage is level 19. Varimathras has a low health bar, with ground fire and movement visible. Later, at 23:01, Lord Kazzak is still fighting at game time 18:44; the level-22 character moves near the outer wall and wooden fencing.
At 26:19, game time has reached 22:01 and Kazzak has roughly a quarter of his health remaining. The character is still moving and dealing damage. These checkpoints are useful places to study available space around a prolonged boss fight. They do not establish a repeatable path or prove that the wall position itself is safe.
Victory and the later endless result
| Measure | Victory at 27:59 | Endless death at 32:51 |
|---|---|---|
| Survival time | 23:39 | 28:19 |
| Level | 22 | 23 |
| Kills | 721 | 759 |
| Total damage | 3,718,373 | 5,035,524 |
| Damage taken | 11,562 | 17,471 |
| Gold earned | 1,025 | 1,362 |
| Chests opened | 9 | 10 |
The 27:59 victory screen unlocks Arathi Basin and awards new Magister's Gloves. Both result screens list 17 elites, four guardians and five bosses. The victory panel also offers Keep fighting (endless).
By 28:19, combat has resumed and the log records the unlock, the Warsong Gulch achievement and the start of endless play. The 32:51 death screen ends that continuation. If your goal is to unlock the next region, the earlier victory screen is the relevant checkpoint; the final damage total includes additional endless combat.
A post-clear upgrade choice
Between those screens, 28:04 shows Common Pyroblast level 9 to 10 with -5% cooldown, Legendary Ice Barrier level 5 to 6 with -16% cooldown and +15% absorption, and Common Flamestrike level 3 to 4 with +11% area. The cursor points to Ice Barrier, but the inspected frame does not confirm the selection.
For a player weighing the same options, this screen exposes the actual trade-off: another damage-spell upgrade or a barrier upgrade before continuing. Since the card appears after victory, it cannot explain how Goerson earned the Warsong Gulch clear. Use the pre-clear spell bar and talent screen when comparing your own attempt to that result.
Sources & scope
Selected opening menus, gameplay checkpoints, upgrade cards and both result screens were visually checked in the original YouTube recording on 17 October 2026. The footage shows v0.77.6 (7cdc75fb); the live original menu showed v0.95.0 (3ab42ec2). Victory at 27:59 precedes endless death at 32:51. Two Fire talent names, the sixth spell and the full upgrade order remain unverified. A hovered tooltip or card does not establish purchase or selection. No complete playthrough or current-build effectiveness test was performed; captions were unavailable.
