You can work toward this with three classes. The community example below uses a Druid; it is not a Druid-only achievement.
What counts
Defeat King Gordok with reflected damage from Shaman’s Lightning Shield, Druid’s Thorns or Paladin’s Holy Shield.
Unlock: Tiny Gordok companion appearance. A companion appearance is separate from purchasing a working companion in Rewards.
The community approach
Source: cheeya · 2026-10-26. Recommendations below are preparation choices, not extra unlock conditions.
- Choose the reflected-damage ability for your class. For the documented Druid attempt, take Thorns and use the Bear Form milestone with defensive talents.
- Balance reflected damage with enough health, mitigation and healing to survive the attacks that trigger it. The author recommends the Thorns legendary necklace when offered.
- Limit other damage sources as the boss approaches death. Banish removes future upgrade offers; it does not erase a spell you already learned. Plan the spell pool early.
- Let the reflected-damage source finish King Gordok, then check the achievement. Surviving while Thorns is active is not the same as landing the required kill.
Before copying the build
The author’s claims about critical strikes and particular item scaling were not independently tested. The current requirement lists three reflected-damage abilities and does not specify a Heroic tier. Avoid treating the author’s full legendary gear suggestion as a formal unlock condition.
After your attempt
Open Achievements to confirm completion on your save. Keep the game version, zone, difficulty, party size and final damage source with any report. A victory screenshot alone may not show every requirement.
