To fill your Scholomance T0.5 set, find the missing slot in the Armory and match it to the boss. From v0.141.0, each of the first four bosses has a 50% chance to drop one armor piece, with successful drops favoring pieces you have not collected. The displayed 25% is the individual chance when both pieces have the same collection state; with only one missing, that piece gets the full 50%. Gandling’s class weapons retain a separate 25% roll.

Match the missing slot to its boss
Select the class whose set you want, then open Scholomance in the Armory’s drop table. That class needs to defeat Nefarian in Blackrock Mountain to unlock Scholomance; equipment collections and zone progress are kept separately for each class. When v0.140.0 inserted the zone, later zones already opened stayed open.
| Scheduled time | Boss | Armor slot A / weapon | Armor slot B / pair rule |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4:00 | Kirtonos the Herald | Head | Shoulders |
| 8:00 | Ras Frostwhisper | Chest | Waist |
| 12:00 | Doctor Theolen Krastinov | Legs | Feet |
| 16:00 | Lord Alexei Barov | Wrists | Hands |
| 20:00 | Darkmaster Gandling | Class weapon reward | Both weapons together for Rogue/Shaman |
These are scheduled spawn times: a surviving boss delays the next one. If you own the head piece but need shoulders, look to Kirtonos; for wrists or hands, the relevant boss is Barov. The five bosses cover eight armor slots and your class’s weapon reward. The Scholomance reference covers the zone route.
Why one missing piece gets a 50% chance
Call a boss’s two armor pieces A and B. Each kill first decides whether an armor drop happens, then awards only one piece. If either piece is missing, the selection uses the missing pieces. Once both are owned, either piece can drop again.
| Your collection before the kill | Piece A | Piece B | No armor piece |
|---|---|---|---|
| Neither A nor B owned | 25% | 25% | 50% |
| A owned, B missing | 0% | 50% | 50% |
| A missing, B owned | 50% | 0% | 50% |
| Both A and B owned | 25% | 25% | 50% |
For Feralheart Cowl and Spaulders, each is 25% when neither is owned or when both are owned. Collect the Cowl, and a later Kirtonos kill has a 50% chance to award the still-missing Spaulders and a 0% chance for another Cowl. Once you own the Spaulders too, both return to 25%. Every state allows at most one armor piece per kill and has a 50% chance of no armor drop.

Gandling still has a 25% weapon roll
Darkmaster Gandling, scheduled at 20:00, supplies your class’s weapon reward at 25%. A Rogue receives Mirah’s Song and Bonescraper together; a Shaman receives Hand of Edward the Odd and Crest of Retribution together. The Druid reward pictured here is Warden Staff. The first four bosses’ 50% armor event does not apply to Gandling.
Use the equipment catalog to compare pieces for your class, and the set catalog for four-piece, eight-piece and empowered effects.
Heroic difficulty does not raise these equipment chances
The v0.141.0 client uses separate Scholomance equipment rolls without a Heroic multiplier: the armor event stays at 50% and Gandling’s weapon reward stays at 25%. This applies to the equipment drops here; check the rules for other zones and other rewards separately.
Why v0.140.0 showed 12.5%
At Scholomance’s v0.140.0 launch, the armor event had a 25% chance, then selected one of two slots. An empty collection therefore showed 12.5% per piece. Aethus’s v0.141.0 post on 4 November at 11:36 UTC+0 raised the armor event to 50% and added missing-piece priority. The announcement scheduled rollout about 30 minutes later.
Take a missing-piece list into the next run
- Select the class you want to equip and confirm that it can enter Scholomance.
- Check the four armor pairs in the Armory. Note whether each pair is missing both pieces, missing one or complete, then match it to the boss above.
- Keep the class weapon as a separate Gandling target with its own 25% chance.
- After collecting a new item, check the Armory’s collection and chances again. When a pair has one piece left, successful drops automatically favor that piece.
For a record during the run, ASDrops offers loot icons and a missing-item checklist. Its manual checkmarks organize the addon’s list; Scholomance’s missing-piece priority uses the game’s equipment collection.

Aethus’s v0.140.0 and v0.141.0 announcements cover the zone, schedule and loot changes. Boss/slot pairs, collection scenarios and the difficulty exception use the v0.141.0 client. Both English Armory screenshots were captured on 4 November 2026 using the unmodified v0.141.0 client at an isolated local address. They use a fully unlocked research save and a controlled copy missing only the Druid shoulder piece.
