Two pages can use the name Azeroth Survivors while describing different builds. During this research pass, the live browser menu displayed v0.91.2 with nine regions. The public OutThisLife repository advertised sixteen battlegrounds and a separate local build workflow.

Start with the game project

The original community announcement was posted by nobus_, who describes the creator as a friend and links to the game’s browser page. That page is the source used by our Play panel. It currently links a Windows archive as an alternative access route.

The game’s own menu is the strongest reference for what is available in the session in front of you. For this snapshot we checked its class picker, region requirements, Armory, Talents and Saves screen.

What the repository actually establishes

The OutThisLife README credits Aethus and calls its project a local source build for personal use. Its documented setup builds Rust and WebAssembly code and obtains separate client data. Those requirements describe that repository, not a prerequisite for clicking Play on the original site.

The reconstruction also documents level-five movement skills on F. That should not be silently substituted for the browser game’s controls. Likewise, its sixteen-zone roster does not establish the browser game’s unlock sequence.

A quick check before using any build advice

  • Does the article link the browser game or a reconstruction?
  • Does it give a version or inspection date?
  • Do the named spell, region and menu exist in your session?
  • Does it distinguish observed mechanics from a player’s suggested strategy?

If two guides conflict, retain the disagreement until you can check the current game. Copying both into one table can create a convincing guide to a version that never existed.

How our reference pages handle this

Our class table and zone sequence now identify the inspected original build. Repository-specific details stay explicitly labelled. We will not call a build optimal merely because a community post describes a strong run.
