Yes. Azeroth Survivors is free to play in your browser at wow.aethus.pl. The game’s own warning says so: “Azeroth Survivors is free at its real page”. We found no price or purchase step in the files we read. The menu has a “Buy me a coffee :)” link, which is an optional way to support the developer.

The only place the browser game runs

The browser game runs only at wow.aethus.pl. Its launcher checks the address before it starts. On any other site, or inside a frame on another page, it does not start. Instead it shows: “Fake website detected! Azeroth Survivors is free at its real page:” with a link to wow.aethus.pl.

So if a site claims to host the game and you see that message, you are on a copy. Close it and open wow.aethus.pl yourself. This guide site does not host the game either. Our Play button opens the real page.

If you already played on a copy

Progress made on a copy stays in that site’s browser storage. The fake-site screen offers a Download your save button when it finds a save there. It downloads AzerothSurvivors.sav. Then open the real game and choose Options → Saves → Import Save. Importing replaces all progress in that browser, so export a backup first if you already have progress on the real site.

To move progress between devices, read moving your save to another computer. We have not tested importing a browser save into the Windows build.

The Windows download

The game page links to https://wow.aethus.pl/download/AzerothSurvivorsWindowsNew.rar. On 20 October 2026 the server reported a RAR archive of 754,921,096 bytes (about 755 MB), last changed on 19 October 2026. The size will change when the developer ships a new build. You need a program that opens RAR files to unpack it.

The page offers it as a way to “play it without a browser”. The launcher’s code notes say the Windows build does not need WebGPU. That makes it the fallback when your browser fails the WebGPU check.

Download it safely

We have not scanned or run the archive, so we cannot tell you it is safe. These steps lower the risk:

  • Download only from the link on wow.aethus.pl, not from a re-upload or a file-sharing post.
  • Scan the archive and its contents with your own antivirus before you run anything.
  • Never enter a password or payment details for this game. The game asks for neither in the files we read.

Discord and news

The game page links a Discord server. The link wow.aethus.pl/discord forwards to discord.gg/UzxaZuSAk. The same Discord link appears in the “Too many people are playing” notice that shows when the game’s server is busy.
